The Division of Student Affairs is dedicated to providing support to the academic mission of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
Our mission is to help provide students with the best possible collegiate experience by offering comprehensive programs and services that contribute to the quality of life on campus and beyond. These programs and services are designed to enhance the formal classroom experience and help prepare students for the Real World.
Staff members in the division are committed to working with students, faculty, and staff from all areas of the University to build an open, inclusive, and intellectual community. Did you know that a student spends approximately 80% of his/her waking hours outside of the classroom? Accordingly, we encourage each student to become familiar with the many programs and services that can enhance their Pitt-Johnstown experience and get them ready for the Real World!
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs is responsible for the overall administration of programs and services in the Division of Student Affairs. The Vice President serves on the President’s cabinet and is the chief advocate for students in promoting their general well-being. The Vice President also provides leadership and development in the following co-curricular areas: Real World Career Services, Housing, Residence Life, Athletics, Campus Activities and Engagement, Real World Action Program, International Student Services, Study Abroad, Counseling and Health Services, Disability Resources, Greek Life, Student Conduct, Campus Police, and the ID Center.
