Commuter-In-Residence Room

Pitt-Johnstown commuter students are encouraged to participate in the Commuter-In-Residence program. As a participant, you will have:

  • a room on campus to study
  • a locker to secure your belongings
  • the ability to interact with residential students

Contact the Office of Housing and Residence Life (814-269-7115 or to request a commuter room, which will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participation in this program is free of charge.

Additional Information

  • First-year commuter students are assigned to either Laurel Hall, Maple Hall, or Oak Hall (six commuter students share a room)
  • Upperclass commuter students are assigned to Larkspur Lodge (all upperclass commuters share one large common space)
