Commuter-In-Residence Room

Pitt-Johnstown commuter students are encouraged to participate in the Commuter-In-Residence program. As a participant, you will have:

  • a room on campus to study
  • a locker to secure your belongings
  • the ability to interact with residential students

Applications for first-year commuter rooms will be accepted in August.  First-year commuter students will receive an email detailing the process.  The number of spaces is limited.

Upperclass commuter students will stop into the Student Housing Office, G61 Student Union, during the first week of classes to request a space in the upperclass commuter room.  These spaces are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Contact the Office of Student Housing (814-269-7115 or with questions.

Participation in this program is free of charge.
