Pitt-Johnstown Early Childhood Education

The Pitt-Johnstown Early Childhood Education program prepares students to teach pre-kindergarten through grade four. The curriculum includes a distribution of courses in the arts and sciences, field-connected education courses, and an academic concentration.

Early Childhood Education

Early childhood educators have the opportunity for employment in a field that dramatically shapes and influences the lives of their students.

They are flexible, use a variety of instructional methods, and enjoy an autonomous work environment in both public and private schools, daycare centers, and preschool settings.
