PittJohnstown LIVE, the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown's makers showcase event and PITTchFest competition, will take place June 3 and 4, 2016, at the campus Wellness Center. The event runs from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. both days.
Pitt-Johnstown LIVE is the informal extension of the Showcase for Commerce, the largest business-to-business and defense trade show in the Laurel Highlands. This event provides a visibility venue for independent, non-traditional businesses and makers to sell their goods, share their skills, and network with peers. Applications were accepted through May 20.
PittJohnstown LIVE’s competition was established to stimulate innovation and support student and community startups in launching and growing new business ventures in rural Pennsylvania. This two-day event enables networking with fellow entrepreneurs, advisors, investors, customers and collaborators while competing for more than $20,000 in cash and prizes. Applications were accepted through May 20.
