Q: I am a senior and have not received information on the ceremony. What office do I call?

Q: How do I sign up to participate and march in the Ceremony?

A: RSVP online > 

Q: How long is the ceremony?

A: Estimated 2 hours, but depends on length of speeches.

Q: Is there a reception after the ceremony?

A: Yes, for graduates and families in the Wellness Center to celebrate the occasion with some light refreshments and hors d’ouerves.

Q: Is there a reception the night before?

A: Yes…more information to come.

Q: Who is the speaker?

A: The speaker will be announced prior to the date of the ceremony by the Office of the President.

Q: May I record the ceremony using my own camera?

A: We recommend that you purchase the professionally taped recording that will be available for purchase through Cam-Ron Productions. Link is on the website, or you may complete the order form on site.

Q: May I purchase flowers for my graduate?

A: Yes, flowers will be available for purchase and information will be posted to the website soon.

Regalia – cap, gown, tassel and honors cords

Q: Where do I buy my regalia? Cap, gown, honors cords?

Q: May I wear my brother’s or sister’s cap and gown?

A: No, we require the graduate each year to purchase his or her own regalia.


Q: Are tickets required?

A: Yes.

Q: How many tickets do I get?

A: Each graduate will receive 4 tickets; the graduate does not need one. We cannot offer more tickets. For non-ticket holders, we offer seats in the Wellness Center, adjacent to the Sports Center. It is a comfortable air-conditioned facility for guests to see the Commencement shown live on large projection screens.

Q: Where can I pick up my tickets?

A: First, at the Graduation Fair, February 21nd; secondly April 2-13, Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm, at the LLC Front Desk.

Q: Can my tickets be mailed to me?

A: Tickets must be picked up in person with proof of regalia purchase and photo ID.

Q: I live out of town and cannot get there to pick up my tickets.

A: Email Kim Miller to explain the situation.

Q: Are tickets for specific seats?

A: No, we offer open seating.

Special needs

Q: Do you have seats for handicapped/special needs guests?

A: Yes. In two locations: on the floor behind the graduates and near the entrance above the bleachers.

Q: Where is the parking for handicapped/special needs guests?

A: Alongside the right of the Sports Center, designated areas are provided.
