The Pitt-Johnstown Activities app aims to increase awareness of campus events.
“A student benefits by engaging at their level of involvement, and we are now in a position to offer it all in one convenient place,” says Heather B. Hall, Pitt-Johnstown’s Director of Campus Activities and Engagement.
“With an active campus like ours, it is often hard for students to keep up with the various posters, announcements, banners, etc.,” Hall says. “Thanks to Student Government Association and Programming Board, Student Affairs was able to collaborate to deliver this service that will put all the opportunities in the palms of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, families and friends of Pitt-Johnstown.”
“This should help to engage our commuters more as they will be able to forecast what is being offered on campus and plan accordingly with their schedules,” she says. “Student organizations will be able to offer programming and announce events earlier.”
