Habitat for Humanity Team Builds Homes During Spring Break

Pitt-Johnstown's team of 23 students and three advisors spent Spring Recess week 2018 as part of a Habitat for Humanity project in Oklahoma City, OK. They worked on five homes and witnessed the dedication of a family’s Habitat-built home.

HumphreyCierra Smetana, a sophomore business marketing major, is teaching while she is learning. Smetana’s instructional curriculum is of the sit, heal, and stay command variety. She is working with Humphrey, a Labrador Retriever mix, in a service dog training program.
